Bhopal: The Mohan Yadav government has announced to bring a proposal in the cabinet soon regarding the promotion of employees. PCC Chief Jitu Patwari has retaliated on this decision of the government. Patwari issued a statement saying - Promotion for government employees in Madhya Pradesh after 8 years is a farce.
He said this is neither an achievement nor a sign of the sensitivity of the government, rather it is the result of its anti-employee policies and long-standing neglect. This government is guilty of crushing the rights of the employees and is now doing drama for cheap popularity.
Court had never ordered a complete ban on promotion: Jitu
Patwari said - In 2016, the High Court had abolished reservation in promotion, against which the Shivraj government went to the Supreme Court. The truth is that the court had never ordered a complete ban on promotion. Still, the Shivraj government suppressed the rights of the employees by making it an excuse. States like Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh continued the promotion of their employees even while waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court, but in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP deliberately deprived the employees of their rights.
Patwari further said- BJP crushed the hope of promotion of employees. The Congress government elected by the people was toppled by horse-trading of MLAs. After this, Shivraj Singh Chouhan formed a stolen government and put the matter of promotion on the back-burner. This was not only a betrayal of the employees but also an act of strangling democracy.
