Ayodhya: A grand festival is going to be held again in the city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. Here, 14 temples are being consecrated in the Ram temple complex. A grand program of Prana Pratishtha will be organized here on June 5. During this, the temples will be consecrated with full rituals amid Vedic chanting.
The Prana Pratishtha of 14 temples located in the Ram temple complex of Ayodhya will be organized on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra festival on June 5. According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, a three-day festival will be celebrated from June 3 to June 5 on the occasion of Prana-Pratishtha.
101 Vedic scholars from Kashi and Ayodhya will oversee the rituals
The rituals regarding Prana Pratishtha will begin on May 30. It will begin with the installation of Shiv Linga in the temple located in the complex. A total of 101 Vedic scholars from Kashi and Ayodhya will oversee the rituals which will include the worship of 'Yagyashala', recitation of Valmiki Ramayana, chanting of mantras, recitation of all four Vedas and other traditional ceremonies.
Prana Pratishtha of these 6 temples in the main complex
Two feet high marble thrones have been specially prepared for the deities. Officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said that the idols will be placed on these thrones during the Prana-Pratishtha ceremony. He said that the temples to be consecrated include six temples located in the main complex. These temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Sun God, Ganapati, Hanuman, Goddess Bhagwati and Goddess Annapurna.
Pran-Pratishtha of seven temples in Sapta Mandapam area
Pran-Pratishtha of seven temples located in Sapta Mandapam area will be done, in which deities and revered figures like Rishi Vasishtha, Valmiki, Agastya, Vishwamitra, Ahalya, Shabari and Nishadraj will be consecrated. The idol of Laxmanji will also be consecrated in Sheshavatar temple.
Preparations have started for cleanliness and decoration in the Ayodhya temple premises. The temple premises will be decorated with flowers.
