Bhopal: Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang inspected the under-construction international sports complex at Barkheda Nathu in Bhopal. He said that as per international standards, about 80 percent of the work of the under-construction international sports complex has been completed and the remaining work is being completed soon with speed and quality.
Sarang informed that this sports complex will play an important role in taking the youth of the state to the global stage in the field of sports. He directed the construction agencies to complete the quality work as soon as possible. During the inspection, Sports Director Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Joint Director B.S. Yadav, contractors, engineers, project managers and other concerned officials were present.
Sports complex will be equipped with modern facilities
During the inspection, Minister Sarang reviewed the athletics stadium, lighting system, practice hockey field, warm-up track, multi-level parking, football field, water and sewage treatment plant and other construction works. He also saw the presentation of the construction details of the project and discussed the technical aspects with the officials.
All sports facilities in one complex
Minister Sarang said that the construction of this fully equipped sports complex will establish a new dimension for sports in Madhya Pradesh. The players here will get all the facilities from training to competitions in one complex, which will strengthen them to compete at the national and international level.
