He extended his salute to the country's formidable armed forces, intelligence agencies, and scientists on behalf of every Indian citizen.
PM Modi highlighted the unwavering courage displayed by India's brave soldiers in achieving the objectives of Operation Sindoor, acknowledging their valor, resilience, and indomitable spirit. He dedicated this unparalleled bravery to every mother, sister, and daughter of the nation.
PM Modi said that after the Pahalgam attack on April 22, the whole country, every political party, has stood up against terrorism in one voice.
Today, every terrorist knows the consequences of wiping Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters and daughters: PM
PM Modi said Operation Sindoor is an unwavering pledge for justice. He said terrorists dared to wipe the Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters; that's why India destroyed the very headquarters of terror. He said Pakistan had prepared to strike at our borders,but India hit them right at their core.
Operation Sindoor has redefined the fight against terror
PM said Operation Sindoor has redefined the fight against terror, setting a new benchmark, a new normal. He said this is not an era of war, but it is not an era of terrorism either. Zero tolerance against terrorism is the guarantee of a better world: PM
PM Modi said, "We have given complete freedom to the Indian army to destroy the terrorists. Today every terrorist, every terror organization knows what is the result of removing the vermilion from the forehead of our sisters and daughters."
PM also said, "India's military operation under Operation Sindoor has just been suspended." He accused Pakistan of nurturing terrorism. He said, "If Pakistan wants to survive, it will have to wipe out its terror infrastructure."
Water and blood cannot flow together
PM Modi said, "India's opinion is very clear, terror and talk cannot go together. Terror and trade cannot go together. Water and blood cannot flow together."
He said, "Our declared policy has been that if there is a talk with Pakistan, it will be on terrorism only. If there is a talk with Pakistan, it will be on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) only."
Modi said that Operation Sindoor is a symbol of the pledge and sentiments of millions of people of the country and through this the terrorists must have understood what is the result of such a heinous act.
Pakistan was exposed
Modi said that in this panic, Pakistan has done another audacity and instead of supporting India's action against terrorists, it started attacking India itself. They started targeting our schools, hospitals, temples, gurudwaras and civilians. They also targeted our military installations and this exposed Pakistan itself.
