In a major development ahead of the Bihar assembly elections-2025, RJD president Lalu Prasad expelled his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav from the party and the family on Sunday. Lalu said that Tej Pratap's actions were mot acceptable and not in accordance with public conduct.
Tej Pratap had married Aishwarya, the grand-daughter of former Bihar chief minister Daroga Rai. However, within a few months, Aishwarya left his house, alleging that she was driven out by her husband and in-laws.
On Saturday evening, Tej Pratap Yadav posted on Facebook that Anushka Yadav is his girlfriend. He said they have known each other for 12 years and are in love. He deleted the post once, then put it back up. However, he deleted it again a few hours later and said on X that his Facebook page was "hacked."
Who is Anushka Yadav?
Tej Pratap's girlfriend Anushka Yadav is a largely private person, with limited information available publicly. Little is known about her educational background or professional pursuits. Until Tej Pratap’s recent revelation, her name rarely appeared in media reports or political discussions.
Anushka is a resident of Bihar. Her father's name is Manoj Yadav. Manoj Yadav's family lives in Langartoli, Patna.
Anushka's brother Akash Yadav was earlier associated with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). According to the reports, Akash Yadav was part of the RJD's youth wing. During his time in the RJD, Tej Pratap and Anushka grew close to each other.
However, Anushka's brother was later expelled from the RJD. He is currently with Pashupati Yadav's party. Akash Yadav was once the Bihar state president of the student wing of RJD.
It is said that Akash Yadav was appointed by Tej Pratap Yadav, while the state president, Jagdanand Singh, denied any such appointment. This incident took place in 2021. Currently, Akash Yadav is the national youth president of Pashupati Paras's party.
