Dubai: You must have heard about AI teachers and news anchors, but now it is the turn of AI chefs! Yes, now this is not a fantasy, but has become a reality. The world's first AI-powered digital chef 'Aiman' is now going to take charge of the kitchen at the restaurant WOOHOO, which is going to open in Kempinski The Boulevard Hotel located near Dubai's popular Burj Khalifa.
Aiman is not a traditional robot, but a digital AI chef who will work closely with human chefs. Its purpose is not to replace anyone, but to help chefs as a "culinary co-pilot". It has been developed by UAE startup company UMAI and is backed by hospitality company Gastronaut.
Aiman's task
Aiman's task is not only to cook food, but to make the kitchen smart and innovative. This includes:
Creating new and unique recipes
Suggesting unique combinations of ingredients
Improving dishes based on feedback
Making kitchen operations more efficient
WOOHOO restaurant's special men
WOOHOO's menu is as unique as its AI chef. Here Japanese, Mexican and Peruvian cuisine will be served together. All three are famous for their different tastes, and their combination will be a challenging test for Aiman.
Customers will get a futuristic dining experience
The interiors of the restaurant have also been specially designed - digital art, metallic look, special lighting and great views, so that customers get a futuristic dining experience.
A complete record of the recipes prepared by Aiman is kept and every dish is tested through real-time feedback and testing. The aim is – safe and tasty food, whether it is made by humans or AI.
Bookings started
Bookings have started in WOOHOO and people are eager to be a part of this technological revolution. Next time you go to Dubai, do try the food prepared by AI chef Aiman. The opportunity to taste the future does not come again and again.
