Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has reacted after Mumbai Indians lost to Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Qualifier-2.
He wrote on his X account, "Bumrah – number 1, Surya – number 1 T20 batter, Rohit Sharma – 5 trophies as captain, Hardik – premier all-rounder, Santner – best left-arm spinner, Trent Boult – highest 1st-over wicket-taker.
"Despite having so many match winners, Mumbai Indians could not win the IPL trophy. Mumbai fans will definitely be very disappointed. Mumbai Indian management will definitely think deeply about this. A team with so many star players is rarely seen in T20 cricket."
