The protest that has been going on for two days against the action on illegal immigrants in Los Angeles, America, has turned violent.
According to the officials, about 1600 illegal immigrants are being caught every day. President Donald Trump has sent 2000 National Guards to control the situation. On June 6-7, the government had launched a campaign against illegal immigrants in Los Angeles. The present protest is against this campaign.
The protesters threw stones and firecrackers at the police on Sunday morning according to the Indian time.
The protesters fired tear gas and petrol bombs at the security forces and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). They also raised slogans like 'ICE go out of Los Angeles' with the flag of Mexico in their hands.
In fact, the Department of Homeland Security claimed that a thousand protesters surrounded a federal building and attacked ICE officials.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers executed search warrants at multiple locations on Friday, including outside a clothing warehouse in the fashion district.

She said, “A message to the LA rioters: you will not stop us or slow us down. @ICEgov will continue to enforce the law. And if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Trump said on his Truth Social platform, that "if Governor of California, and Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles, can't do their jobs, which everyone knows they can't, then the Federal Government will step in and solve the problem, RIOTS & LOOTERS, the way it should be solved!!!”
