Rare Noor Jahan mango has been made available for first time
The special thing about this year's festival is that for the first time the rare Noor Jahan mango has been made available for sale. Earlier this mango was kept only for exhibition. The price of this mango is 2,000 per kg and it weighs more than 1.1 kg.
The Noor Jahan mango is produced only in the Kattiwada region of Alirajpur district, where it is cultivated on only 10 trees. This mango is so heavy that it can fall even with a light wind, so its cultivation is a challenge.
