Bihar: Is Tej Pratap Yadav trying to regain his lost political ground? What he said now?

Tej Pratap Yadav is once again in the headlines in Bihar politics. After being expelled from the party and family, he has now described himself as the true political successor of his father Lalu Prasad Yadav. In a recent media interview, Tej Pratap claimed, "My voice, style and thinking are like father Lalu, those who target me know that I am the second Lalu, and this is what bothers them."

Tej Pratap described himself as a leader active on the ground who raises the issues of the common people, as his father Lalu Yadav used to be. Blessing his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav to become the Chief Minister of Bihar, he said, "If Tejashwi becomes the CM, I have no objection. My full support is with him." However, he also said that he sees himself in the role of a kingmaker in politics.

Why was only I expelled?

Tej Pratap targeted the politics within the party on his 6-year expulsion from RJD. He raised the question, "Why was only I expelled? There are many people in the party who are causing harm, but no action is taken against them. This is a well-planned conspiracy." However, he clarified that he was not pointing towards his parents or brother Tejashwi.

It is worth noting that Tej Pratap was surrounded by controversies regarding viral pictures with Anushka Yadav. A post from his social media account claimed that both have been in a relationship for 12 years. The post was deleted and was claimed that the account had been hacked. But the pictures went viral. After this, Lalu Prasad Yadav took a tough decision to separate him from the party and family.

Family and personal relationship with Akhilesh

At the same time, on the news of video call with Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, Tej Pratap said that there is a family and personal relationship between the two, which is different from politics. He said, "Only our people support in difficult times."

Trying to regain his lost political ground

It is clear from Tej Pratap Yadav's recent statements and activities that he is trying to regain his lost political ground. It is not yet clear what his next step will be after his expulsion from RJD, but he is leaving no stone unturned to prove himself as 'second Lalu'. During another interview, he had said that a person can also contest elections independently.
