Indore's transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi was allegedly murdered by his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi. Sonam, who was missing for 17 days, was found in a dhaba in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, she surrendered and was then arrested. This has been revealed by the Meghalaya DGP.
DGP Idashisha Nongrang told that the wife had hired the killers to carry out the murder. Meanwhile, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma shared a post on the social media handle X and informed that three assailants involved in the incident have also been arrested. The attackers are from Madhya Pradesh. At present, the search for another attacker is on.

Sonam Raghuvanshi's mother Sangeeta Raghuvanshi said, 'I cannot say anything until the investigation is done. The allegation of Sonam getting the murder done by giving contract is wrong. My daughter cannot do this. All this is a lie. This should be investigated. The police is falsely accusing my daughter. Raja Raghuvanshi's murderer should also be found. False allegations are being made against my daughter. My daughter has been traced, but I am still sad.'
Meghalaya police is framing us: Sonam's father
Sonam's father Devi Singh Raghuvanshi said, 'My daughter is innocent. My daughter had reached the Dhaba, there she took a mobile from a person and told Govind. After this we informed the police. False allegations are being made, Meghalaya police is framing us. They are hiding their failure. If there is a CBI investigation, then the truth will come out.
Sonam's father also said that the 3 people who have been arrested cannot be from Madhya Pradesh. They are locals. Sonam's father further said that why the police did not take remand till now. Home Minister Amit Shah has not issued orders for CBI investigation till date. The police kept asking for time again and again.
