Kaanta Laga and Bigg Boss fame Shefali Jariwala passes away in Mumbai


Actress Shefali Jariwala, who became famous with the remake song Kaanta Laga, has died at the age of 42. According to media reports, she suffered a cardiac arrest on the night of June 27, which led to her death.

Mumbai Police has started its investigation in this case. The forensic team has reached Shefali Jariwala's house and evidence is being collected. At the same time, the maid and cook of the house have been questioned at Amboli Police Station. Statements of family members are also being taken.

According to sources, Shefali was taken unconscious by her husband and actor Parag Tyagi, along with three others, to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai on Friday night, where doctors declared her dead.

The hospital reception staff has confirmed that Shefali Jariwala was brought dead to the hospital. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.

Shefali Jariwala married Meet Brothers musician Harmeet Singh in 2004. Both got divorced in 2009. After this, she married actor Parag Tyagi in 2015.

Shefali had once told that she had an epileptic attack at the age of 15. She used to get seizures in a state of stress and anxiety. However, later she started doing yoga and daily exercise, due to which her health started improving and epileptic seizures stopped.

Started her career at the age of 19

Shefali Jariwala started her career at the age of 19 with the music video 'Kaanta Laga', which made her a star overnight. Her bold style and dancing style in this song caught people's attention.

Jariwala gained popularity through her participation in reality shows like "Nach Baliye", a dance-based show series, with her husband, and later, Salman Khan-hosted "Bigg Boss 13".

Jariwala rose to prominence in 2002 with the massive popularity of 'Kaanta Laga', a remix of an old Lata Mangeshkar song from the 1972 movie 'Samadhi'.

After this, she worked in some more music albums and films. In the year 2004, she was also seen in Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar's film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. She was also seen in the Kannada film Hudugaru. Shefali participated in many dance reality shows. At the same time, she was seen in Nach Baliye with her husband Parag Tyagi.

Jariwala's sudden death has shocked many industry friends and colleagues, who expressed grief.

Singer Mika Singh said he is unable to fathom the news about the death of his dearest friend, Jariwala.
