Bihar: Why RJD MP Sudhakar Singh said that Election Commission is working as BJP's B team? What Tejashwi Yadav and Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha said?

Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Sudhakar Singh has said that the Election Commission is working as the Bharatiya Janata Party's B team.

Sudhakar Singh told media, "The Election Commission is developing a model. The Election Commission is working as BJP's B team."

"When the NDA lost in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha elections, 70 lakh new voters were added there to prevent the India Block from coming to power. The same thing happened in Delhi."

Sudhakar Singh said, "The Election Commission wants to do the same thing in Bihar. It is preparing a fake voter list by removing the names of Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal supporters from the voter list."

EC move is is extremely suspicious: Tejashwi

Earlier, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also commented on the Election Commission. Tejashwi Yadav posted on the social media platform X, "The sudden announcement of special intensive revision by the Election Commission before the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar is extremely suspicious and worrying."

Reacting to Tejashwi Yadav's comment, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that RJD's mindset is against the Constitution and constitutional institutions. When the Election Commission of India wants to ensure 100 percent voting by identifying the voters, why are they uneasy, Sinha asked.

The Election Commission had issued a press release on June 24 in view of the Bihar elections.

The press release said that the Election Commission has issued instructions to the Commission to conduct Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar.

According to the Election Commission, "The purpose of Special Intensive Revision is to ensure that the names of all legitimate citizens are included in the Electoral List (ER) so that they can exercise their franchise. No ineligible voter... is included in the voter list and complete transparency can be brought in the process of adding or removing the names of voters in the voter list."
