Experts will visit Guna

On July 16, a team of MPIDC experts will visit Guna. The experts in the team will prepare the farmers for the formalities involved in export along with the export possibilities. MPIDC will also assist the farmers in coordinating with the exporters. This will enable the roses of Guna to spread their fragrance in Paris and London, following the example of Pune and Bengaluru.

According to an estimate, a farmer earns a net profit of Rs 10 to 12 lakh from rose cultivation in one acre in a year. A roadmap is being prepared to increase it to 500 acres in 5 years.
