Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has given this information. Misri said, "Prime Minister Modi clearly told President Trump that during this entire incident, at no level were there any discussions on issues like India-US trade deal or mediation by the US between India and Pakistan."
On May 10, Donald Trump had said that ceasefire between India and Pakistan happened because of his mediation. At that time also India had denied any kind of mediation.
Misri said, "The talks about stopping military action were held directly between India and Pakistan through the existing channels established between the two armies and were done at the request of Pakistan. Prime Minister Modi stressed that India has never accepted mediation, nor does it accept it and never will. There is complete political unanimity in India on this issue."

PM Modi and President Trump's meeting was scheduled to happen on the sidelines of G7, but Trump had to leave G7 and return to America on 17 June. Due to this, this meeting could not happen. After this, on Trump's request, both the leaders talked on the phone. The conversation lasted for about 35 minutes.
After the Pahalgam attack on 22 April, President Trump had expressed condolences to PM Modi on the phone and expressed support against terrorism. After this, this was the first conversation between the two leaders on 18 June. Therefore, PM Modi and President Trump talked in detail about Operation Sindoor.
Misri also told that PM Modi clearly told Trump that after 22 April, India had told the whole world about its determination to take action against terrorism.
On the night of 6-7 May, India had targeted only terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
India's actions were very measured, precise and non-escalatory. India had also made it clear that we will respond to Pakistan's bullets with shells.
