Madhya Pradesh will be affected by severe heat for the sixth consecutive day on Thursday. Heat wave is likely in 12 districts of Gwalior, Chambal-Sagar division. On the other hand, most of the districts of UP recorded more than 40°C on Wednesday. Even on Thursday, there is a heatwave warning in many districts of the state.
Entry of monsoon in MP likely on 14 or 15 June
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the entry of monsoon in Madhya Pradesh may happen on 14 or 15 June. However, there will be severe heat in the state on 12-13 June. Heat wave is likely in 12 districts of Gwalior, Chambal-Sagar division on Thursday. Out of these, 7 districts Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh and Chhatarpur have orange alert.
Red alert in Delhi
Red alert has been issued in Delhi due to mercury reaching 45°C. On Wednesday, Delhi's Aaya Nagar was the hottest with 45.0°C.
Alert in these states
The weather department has issued a heat alert in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh forn Thursday. It seems as if fire is raining from the sky and the day temperature has also crossed 45 degrees. Alert has been issued in most of the states. If the weather department is to be believed, the heat will continue in all the states of North India.
Record broken in Amritsar, temperature reaches 47
In Punjab too, people are suffering due to heat. Here too, the temperature has crossed 45 degrees in many districts. Along with this, heat has broken the record in Amritsar. Here the day temperature has reached 47. People are being instructed to avoid going out of their homes during the day.
Sun is spewing fire in Rajasthan, Sri Ganganagar hottest at 48
Sun is spewing fire in many areas of Rajasthan. Here in Sri Ganganagar, the day temperature was recorded at 48 degrees today. In Barmer, Churu and Jaisalmer too, the temperature has reached 45 degrees, due to which people are in a bad condition. The scorching sun is drying up the water in the body.
Even hill stations have become hot
The condition of heat is such that even hill stations are becoming hot. In many districts of Himachal, the day temperature is reaching close to 40. The temperature in Kullu has been recorded at 38 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the mercury has reached 44 degrees in Jammu as well. The condition of working people who leave their homes during the day is becoming bad.
