What former England bowler Stuart Broad said about Jasprit Bumrah?

Former England bowler Stuart Broad has made a big statement about Indian star Jasprit Bumrah. He has said that India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has the ability to dodge the batsmen. Apart from this, he has compared Bumrah to Australian legendary bowler Glenn McGrath. He believes that Bumrah is a skilled bowler like Glenn McGrath. All eyes will be on his performance in the upcoming Test series against England.

Broad compared Bumrah to Australia's great fast bowler McGrath in terms of the most balanced bowling run up in world cricket. Former English cricketer Stuart Broad said that "When Bumrah runs to bowl, you think it will be 70 miles per hour, but he bowls at a speed of 90 miles per hour, which makes you unable to guess correctly."

Wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler was also with him in this podcast. He said, "When I faced Shoaib Akhtar, he used to run at a speed of hundred miles per hour. He used to bowl at a speed of hundred miles per hour."

Broad, who announced his retirement in 2023 after taking 604 wickets in Test cricket, said, "Bumrah's run up is very balanced and he never lets it deteriorate. Among the bowlers I have seen, Glenn McGrath's run up was very balanced. Bumrah is also like him."

It is reported that Jasprit Bumrah will not be able to play all five matches during the England series. This was confirmed by Indian team selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar and head coach Gautam Gambhir. On the other hand, Broad believes that if Bumrah plays in all five matches of the series starting in Leeds from Friday, he will take a lot of wickets.
