RJD supremo Lalu Prasad's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday announced to contest as an independent from Mahua seat.
Tej Pratap Yadav said that 'Team Tej Pratap is a platform. Our team will also support everyone in the elections, the young generation who wants to contest. All of them will be supported.'
'There is full hope that uncle (Nitish) will not become CM this time. The one who will talk about youth, education, employment, health service will form the government.'
Tej Pratap Yadav said, 'We have already said that we will contest from Mahua. Those who are opposing are getting restless.'
RJD's Mukesh Kumar is currently the MLA from Mahua. He defeated JDU's Ashma Parveen by 13687 votes in the 2020 elections. Tej Pratap is currently an MLA from Hasanpur seat.
