Ranchi: The seat sharing formula has not been decided in the Mahagathbandhan for the Bihar assembly elections-2025. Meetings were held for this, but sources say that there are some hurdles in seat sharing. Meanwhile, the issue of voter list revision came up. After this, no talks could be held regarding seat sharing.
now there is news that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha i.e. JMM is also preparing to contest the Bihar assembly elections. However, earlier Tejashwi Yadav had refused to include JMM in the Mahagathbandhan, which means that RJD does not want to give seats to JMM.
When the matter did not work out directly, JMM chose the other way. Now JMM is going to enter Bihar with the support of Congress. This has been said by a Congress leader himself. Jharkhand Congress in-charge K Raju said that the party is trying to ensure that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) gets seats to contest in the Bihar assembly elections as an alliance partner.
JMM has an alliance with Cong and RJD in Jharkhand
JMM, a major partner in the ruling coalition in Jharkhand, has an alliance with the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in the state. Raju told reporters in Giridih district of Jharkhand that the Congress party is trying to secure seats for JMM in the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar.
Raju said as part of the alliance, it is our responsibility and we have already taken steps in this regard. A party official said that JMM is preparing to contest 12 to 15 seats in the Bihar assembly elections. He said that however, the final decision will be taken only after talks with the allies of the India Alliance.
