Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate a two-day Regional Tourism Conclave at the Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium in Rewa on Saturday, July 26. The conclave aims to promote tourism investment in Madhya Pradesh while fostering collaboration and partnerships among tourism entrepreneurs, tour operators, and the hotel industry.
The PM Shri Tourism Air Service Booking Portal will be launched on the IRCTC platform and the Homestay Online Booking Portal will be inaugurated. An MoU will be signed with MakeMyTrip and the foundation stone of the Spiritual Experience project at Chitrakoot Ghat will be virtually laid.
Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla and Minister of State for Tourism, Culture, Religious Trusts and Endowments (Independent Charge), Dharmendra Singh Lodhi will also attend the event.
Actors Mukesh Tiwari and Sanvikaa Singh will be special guests
Recognizing the growing number of tourists and the untapped tourism potential in the Vindhya region, the conclave has been organized to boost tourism investment in the state. Renowned actor Mukesh Tiwari and actress Sanvikaa Singh known for her role in Panchayat web series will be special guests at the conclave.
Investors in Hospitality Sector to be Feted
Principal Secretary, Tourism & Culture and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, informed that investors in the hospitality sector in Madhya Pradesh will be felicitated during the conclave. This conclave is part of the preparations for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart scheduled in Bhopal in October. Similar regional conclaves will also be held in Gwalior in August and Indore in September.
Sessions on Wildlife, Heritage and Rural Tourism
The conclave will feature several thematic sessions, including “From Forest Trails to Heritage Tales: Rewa’s Tourism Renaissance”, “Creating a Holistic Tourism Experience in Madhya Pradesh”, “Opportunities for Investment in Tourism and Film, and Hospitality in MP”. Deliberations will focus on experiences, investment prospects and the scope of wildlife, heritage and rural tourism in Madhya Pradesh.
B2B Interactions on Tourism Investment
Dedicated sessions for B2B interaction will fecilitate bilateral interactions between travel operators, hoteliers, and stakeholders to discuss investment opportunities in the tourism sector. These discussions are expected to significantly contribute to both regional and national tourism growth.
Cultural Showcase and Exhibition
A special exhibition will highlight the cultural heritage and tourism diversity of Madhya Pradesh, including stalls featuring destinations, tourism units, hospitality brands, homestays, resorts, handicrafts, adventure tourism, and more. Cultural performances will also be a highlight.
Familiarisation Tour for Stakeholders
At the conclusion of the conclave, selected guests and participants will be taken on a Familiarization Tour (FAM Tour) to showcase the tourism potential of Rewa and surrounding areas firsthand.
