Prime Minister Narendra Modi today condoled the loss of lives the road accident in Deoghar, Jharkhand.
The PMO India handle in post on X said: “The road accident in Deoghar, Jharkhand is extremely sad. My deepest condolences to the families of the devotees who lost their lives in this. May God give them the strength to bear this pain. Along with this, I wish for the speedy recovery of all the injured: PM @narendramodi”
On Tuesday morning, a horrific road accident took place in Mohanpur block of Deoghar district of Jharkhand. In which 9 devotees died, while 21 devotees are seriously injured. The accident occurred near Jamunia Chowk when a bus full of Kanwariyas collided with a truck loaded with gas cylinders.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed deep grief over this accident. He has assured all possible help for the treatment of the injured.
Hemant Soren described this incident as very sad and posted on the social media platform X and expressed condolences to the devotees who lost their lives in the accident. He wrote that, "Very sad news has been received about the death of devotees in a bus accident near Jamunia Chowk in Mohanpur block of Deoghar this morning. The district administration is providing medical facilities to the injured along with relief and rescue work. May the Lord give peace to the souls of the devotees who died in the Baba Baidyanath accident and give strength to the bereaved families to bear the hour of grief."
