What RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that discussions about PM Modi’s retirement have started? What Sanjay Raut and Amit Shah said?

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has once again created a stir with his statement. Shiv Sena UBT MP Sanjay Raut has taken a dig at a statement by Mohan Bhagwat and has given his reaction to Bhagwat's statement.

In fact, on Wednesday, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed a public meeting at the launch of the book "Moropant Pingle: The Architect of Hindu Resurgence" in Nagpur. During this meeting, Mohan Bhagwat initiated the debate by referencing Moropant Pingle's statement about retiring at the age of 75.

Regarding this statement, Shiv Sena UBT MP Sanjay Raut has said that Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat is giving this message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The interesting thing is that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to turn 75 in September this year. RSS chief Bhagwat had said, 'When someone congratulates you on turning 75, it means that now you should stop and give others a chance to work.'

Bhagwat is giving this message to PM: Raut

Raut's reaction came after his statement. He said that the RSS chief is giving this message to PM Modi. Raut said, 'PM Modi forced leaders like LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Jaswant Singh etc. to retire because they had turned 75. Now let's see if Modi will follow it himself.'

Earlier also in the month of March, Sanjay Raut had made some claims regarding the retirement of Prime Minister Modi. When the Prime Minister came to Nagpur on a visit to the Sangh headquarters, Raut had said that PM Modi went to the Nagpur headquarters of RSS to announce his retirement. Sanjay Raut believed that the PM had not visited the RSS headquarters in the last 10-11 years, so this visit was important for his upcoming political future.

What Shah said?

In May last year, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had clarified that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not retire from active politics even after turning 75. He had said, 'I want to make it clear that there is no such provision in the BJP constitution. Modi will lead the country till 2029 and Modi will also lead in the upcoming elections. There is no good news for the India Alliance. They cannot win elections by spreading lies.'
