Bihar Assembly Election-2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is again coming to Patna amid election activities in Bihar. Prime Minister will on August 22 inaugurate a highway project connecting Aunta (Mokama)-Simaria (Begusarai) that includes a 1.865-km bridge over the Ganga.

The project will provide direct connectivity between Mokama in Patna district and Begusarai.

The new bridge has been constructed parallel to the old two-lane rail-cum-road bridge 'Rajendra Setu'. This almost seven-decade-old Rajendra Setu is under repair, restricting heavy vehicle movement.

With the opening of the bridge, heavy vehicles will save up to 100 km of detour while traveling between regions of north Bihar (Begusarai/Supaul, Madhubani, Araria, etc) and south Bihar (Patna, Seikhpura, Nawada, Lakhisarai, etc).

The bridge will also provide better connectivity to the famous pilgrimage place of Simaria Dham, which is also the birthplace of famous poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar.

Rahul Gandhi is already in Bihar

The special thing is that Rahul Gandhi is also in Bihar at present. The Mahagathbandhan is undertaking the Vote Adhikar Yatra against vote theft. In such a situation, politics is going to heat up after the arrival of PM Narendra Modi in Bihar. In Bihar, Rahul Gandhi-Tejashwi Yadav are making sharp attacks on the Election Commission and the BJP. There is a strong possibility that PM Modi will take on the Opposition from Mokama.
