Ban For Online Games Bill Will Present Today: Online gaming apps have badly affected today's society, particularly among the youth. In the pursuit of quick financial gains, not only young people but also many older adults have become involved, often falling victim to substantial debt and a variety of related issues.

Tragically, some people even contemplate suicide after becoming ensnared in this risky pursuit of wealth. In response to these pressing societal problems, the government is set to introduce a bill in Parliament today aimed at banning online gaming.

The proposed legislation will seek to regulate all forms of online gaming that involve betting or gambling. This includes any online games where money is at stake, whether based on skill or chance, with the intention of implementing a complete ban.

The bill will be presented in the Lok Sabha today

Today i.e. on Wednesday, the Online Gaming Bill is being brought by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, which can be presented in the Lok Sabha. On Tuesday, the Cabinet Committee gave its approval to the Online Gaming Bill. Betting in online gaming will be kept in the category of crime. And for this crime, the punishment can be up to seven years and the offender may have to pay a fine of up to 10 lakh rupees.

Ban on more than 1400 apps in five years

If this bill is passed as soon as it is presented in the Parliament, then only those online gaming apps will remain, which do not require any fee or money to play. Actually, the government has been trying to ban betting apps for the last several years and more than 1400 apps have also been banned in the last four-five years, but due to no law being made against online gaming apps, it has not been completely controlled. Gaming apps like Dream 11 also banned

According to this bill, no bank will be allowed to make transactions for playing online gaming. Right now there are many such online games in the market, in which there is no betting, but money has to be paid before playing it, for which credit card or debit card has to be used. The biggest brunt of this game ban can fall on gaming apps like Dream 11, which creates cricket teams.
