Ministers called to Delhi after oath

According to sources, all the three new ministers have been called to Delhi immediately after taking oath. For this, vehicles were sent from the State Garage to the Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, MP Brijmohan Agarwal, BJP ministers, MLAs and workers were present in large numbers at the ceremony.

Number of ministers in Cabinet now 14

Before the cabinet expansion, 11 ministers were working with CM Sai. After the expansion on Wednesday, this number reached 14. This is the first time that so many ministers have been made in the cabinet of Chhattisgarh.

Haryana formula implemented

According to the Constitution, the maximum number of ministers in a 90-seat assembly can be only 15% i.e. 13. But this time, applying the Haryana formula, 14 ministers have been formed. There is a lot of discussion about this in the political corridors and it is being considered as a strategic move of the BJP.

Swearing-in ceremony took place in a dignified atmosphere

The swearing-in ceremony was held in a traditional and dignified atmosphere at the Raj Bhavan. The Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy to the three MLAs. After this, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and other leaders congratulated the new ministers. During this, the supporters expressed their happiness by bursting firecrackers and the atmosphere echoed with slogans.

Old ministers' seats are safe

The BJP organization has made it clear that the entry of new ministers will not affect the seats of any existing minister. That is, no one's department or position will be changed. In the past, there were speculations that the position of Laxmi Rajwada, Dayaldas Baghel and Tankaram Verma may weaken, but at present there are no such signs.

Setback for senior leaders

The names of the new ministers have come as a big shock to some senior and experienced leaders of the BJP. These include veterans like former Assembly Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik, former Finance Minister Amar Agarwal, and former Panchayat and Health Minister Ajay Chandrakar. These leaders did not get a place in the cabinet this time too. Analysts say that BJP has given priority to young faces in this expansion and this step has been taken keeping in mind the future strategy of the organization.

Political message

With this cabinet expansion, BJP has given a clear message that the party now wants to strengthen the leadership by bringing forward new and emerging faces. At the same time, senior leaders have got a hint that their role can now be limited to the organizational scope. This cabinet expansion of Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai in Chhattisgarh is historic in many ways. For the first time a cabinet of 14 ministers has been formed and BJP has shown through its decision that the party is ready to change the definition of future leadership. Now it has to be seen how fast the new ministers start working in their departments and how well they live up to the expectations of the people of BJP. ..
