CM said that just as Mathura, Gokul, and Vrindavan hold great significance, Janapav in Mhow (in Indore district) too is equally important. It was here that Lord Parshuram bestowed the Sudarshan Chakra upon Shri Krishna, making this site historically sacred. Whenever other weapons failed, Shri Krishna used the Sudarshan Chakra, and his glory echoed everywhere.

The Chief Minister said that across Madhya Pradesh, Shri Balram Jayanti, Independence Day, and now Shri Krishna Janmashtami are being celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm.

CM Dr. Yadav participated in the “Shri Krishna Parva” held at Janapav, the birthplace of Lord Parshuram in Indore district, on the occasion of Janmashtami.
