Modi leaves for China, what PM said about Japan tour?


Tokyo/New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for China on Saturday at the conclusion of his two-day successful visit to Japan. After leaving for China, Modi said in a post on social media that his visit to Japan was very fruitful and it will be very beneficial for both the countries. Modi had reached Tokyo on Thursday night on a four-day visit to Japan and China.

In the first leg of the visit, Modi participated in the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit with his Japanese counterpart Shigeru Ishiba on Friday. Both the Prime Ministers addressed the meeting of the India-Japan Economic Forum. 

On the second day of the visit, Modi along with his Japanese counterpart visited a semiconductor company in Shindai. PM also met with the Governors of various Prefectures of Japan. Sixteen Governors participated in the interaction.

After this, Prime Minister Ishiba hosted a banquet in honour of Modi after which Modi left for China. 

PM Modi will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Heads of State Summit in Tianjin, China. He will hold bilateral talks with President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin and other global leaders.
