PM Modi Takes Bullet Train Ride in Japan with Shigeru Ishiba, Interacts With Indian Train Drivers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Japan and on the second day of the visit, he took a bullet train ride with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. During this, both the leaders traveled to Sendai city and observed the modern technology of the bullet train. PM Modi also met Indian train drivers inside the train, who are currently training at JR East in Japan.
Inspects ALFA-X train
Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba inspected the new Alfa-X train with PM Modi and got detailed information about it. Many officials were also present with the two leaders inside the train. Ishiba shared pictures on his X account and said that the technology of the train is state-of-the-art and this is an important step for India-Japan rail cooperation.
Meets Indian train drivers undergoing training
PM Modi met Indian train drivers undergoing training at Japanese Railways before the train journey. He posed for pictures with them and encouraged them. This step is believed to further strengthen India-Japan rail and technical cooperation.
Japan tour ends
Prime Minister Modi's tour of Japan is ending on Saturday. After this tour, PM Modi will go directly to China for the SCO Summit. The bullet train ride has written a new chapter in India-Japan friendship and technical partnership.
