MP: Shikaras will be operated in Upper Lake like Kashmir's Dal Lake, when will metro train start in Bhopal, CM Mohan Yadav tells
Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Bhopal is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. The state government is moving towards developing Bhopal as a metropolitan city by planning the development of the state capital. The districts around Bhopal will also get its benefits. Western Bypass is also being developed with the aim of improving the traffic of Bhopal and surrounding areas.
CM said Metro Train operation will also start in Bhopal by October 2025. Shikaras will also be operated in Bhopal’s Upper Lake like Dal Lake of Kashmir with the help of Tourism Development Corporation. Grand gates are being built on major routes through the Municipal Corporation in Bhopal. Along with this, a huge convention center will also be constructed in the city.
CM Mohan Yadav was addressing the program organized in Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium by Municipal Corporation Bhopal for Bhoomi Pujan of construction works, distribution of appointment letters and honor of Safai Mitras.
In the program, CM performed Bhoomi Pujan for various water supply related works at a cost of Rs 582.32 crore under Amrut 2.0 project and 50 development works to be done in various wards at a cost of Rs 16 crore 76 lakh. Along with this, appointment and compassionate letters were given and Safai Mitras were also honored for Bhopal getting an excellent position in Swachh Survekshan 2024.
