Organic Farm Products Available at 2-Day Ajeevika Fresh Fair at Bhopal Haat Starting August 23; Explore Other Attractions
Bhopal: A two-day 'Ajeevika Fresh' fair, showcasing self-help groups under the Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission, will take place at Bhopal Haat on August 23rd and 24th. The fair will be inaugurated by Prahlad Singh Patel, the Panchayat, Rural Development, and Labor Minister, at 10:00 AM on August 23rd.
The event aims to connect products from self-help groups formed under the Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission to broader markets. The fair will feature 55 stalls to be operated by women from various districts, who will sell and display agricultural and dairy products cultivated in a chemical-free and organic manner. The fair will run daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

Participants will showcase a variety of chemical-free products, including Desi Cow and Gir Cow ghee, cereals, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, fruits, tofu, dry mushrooms, pickles, cookies, and pure forest honey. Regional specialties like Tur (arhar) dal and jaggery from Narsinghpur, Chinauri rice from Balaghat, and Jeera Shankar rice from Seoni will also be available.
Additionally, art enthusiasts can enjoy traditional arts through exhibitions and cultural presentations by regional artists, providing entertainment for visitors from Bhopal and surrounding areas.
