Round Trip Railway Package: In order to avoid rush, ensure hassle free booking during peak festival seasons and ensure both side utilization of trains including special trains, it has been decided to formulate an experimental scheme named as Round Trip Package for festival rush on discounted fare. This scheme will be applicable for those passengers who chooses their return journey during the prescribed period as detailed below:
This promotional offer, which commences booking on August 14th for journeys starting October 13th, is designed for passengers who book both their onward and return tickets simultaneously.
The scheme mandates that all passenger details, including the travel class and train pair, must be identical for both legs of the journey.
The policy, however, comes with a few key stipulations. Tickets purchased under this scheme are non-refundable and cannot be modified. The discount applies exclusively to the base fare of confirmed tickets and does not cover concessions like railway passes or vouchers.
Additionally, trains with dynamic "Flexi-fare" pricing are excluded from the program. To avail of the discount, both tickets must be booked through the same channel—either online or at a reservation counter.
