Engineers Research and Training Institute to Be Set Up in Madhya Pradesh: CM Mohan Yadav

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that an Engineers Research and Training Institute will be established in the state to enhance efficiency of engineers by training them in modern technology and methods of work. 

CM said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through initiatives like PM Gati Shakti, has been encouraging engineers, boosting their morale in challenging situations. Indian engineers have demonstrated excellence through landmark projects like the Chenab Bridge. The Public Works Department in the state has initiated efforts focused on public welfare. 

CM Mohan Yadav was addressing the state-level program on the birth anniversary of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya at the Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium in Bhopal. The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting and garlanding of Sir Visvesvaraya’s portrait.

Inspiration from India’s Architectural Heritage

CM Mohan Yadav stated that the two buildings of the Indian Parliament are inspired by ancient structures of Madhya Pradesh. Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya set new benchmarks in engineering during the challenging times of 20th century. CM also recalled the contributions of great scientist Jagdish Chandra Bose. He congratulated all engineers and contractors being honoured at the event.\

Launch of Two Digital Platforms

On this occasion, CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated two major digital platforms of the Public Works Department: the Public Works Survey App and the Public Project Management System. He also released the department newsletter focusing on achievements,schemes and innovations. Engineers and contractors of the Public Works Department were honoured for excellence and quality work.
