Manoj Jarange Patil said on Tuesday that the Maharashtra government has accepted the main demands of the Maratha movement. With this, he has 'won the battle'.

The state government has formed a subcommittee to resolve the issue of Maratha reservation. 

A delegation of Maharashtra government reached Azad Maidan to meet Jarange. Four cabinet ministers of Maharashtra government talked to Jarange. Police had tightened the security around Jarange Patil's stage. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Shivendra Raje Bhosale, Jai Kumar Gore and Manikrao Kokate talked to Jarange.

After meeting the delegation, Jarange told his supporters that the government has been given two months to fulfill the demands.

With this, Jarange has ended the hunger strike. Jarange was agitating demanding Kunbi status for Marathas.

This news has come at a time when the Bombay High Court had ordered Manoj Jarange to vacate Azad Maidan by 3 pm on Tuesday.

Manoj Jarange said that the sub-committee is ready to approve the Hyderabad Gazette. The sub-committee has given instructions to implement it.

Jarange also said that the gazetteer of the Satara institute will be examined and implemented legally within 15 days.
