Telangana: KCR's daughter K Kavitha suspended by BRS, action taken due to anti-party statements
Telangana's leading party BRS has suspended its leader and MLC K Kavitha due to rhetoric and indisciplined activities against the party. The decision was implemented with immediate effect on Tuesday (September 2).
The party leadership says that Kavitha's recent activities and public statements were against the interests of the party, due to which this step was taken. This action was taken under the leadership of her father and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Kavitha had made serious allegations
A day before the suspension, K Kavitha had made serious allegations against many senior leaders of the party. She had said that some party leaders were trying to tarnish her father's image and wanted to make him a scapegoat in corruption cases. Kavitha had also accused T Harish Rao and former MP Megha Krishna Reddy of anti-party activities.

BRS informed about Kavitha's suspension through a social media post. The party said that Kavitha's recent activities and anti-party statements were harming the party. Therefore, party president K Chandrashekhar Rao decided to suspend her from the party with immediate effect.
