Biggest demonstration against President Trump held, 70 lakh people participate in over 2,600 rallies

The largest demonstration against President Trump took place in the United States on Saturday. More than 2,600 rallies were held in various cities across the country, attracting approximately 70 lakh people.

These demonstrations have been dubbed the "No Kings" protests. Protesters allege that the country is rapidly moving toward authoritarianism under Trump's rule. Previously, during the first "No Kings" demonstration in June, approximately 2,100 rallies were held.

Large crowds gathered in New York's Times Square, parks in Boston, Atlanta, and Chicago. People also took to the streets in Washington, Los Angeles, and several Republican-ruled states. The Republican Party dubbed these demonstrations "Hate America Rallies."

Third Major Protest During Trump's Presidency

This is the third major demonstration during President Trump's tenure. Significantly, the United States is currently under a shutdown, with many government services paralyzed. The Trump administration's assertive approach has led to increased conflict with Congress and the judiciary.

Protesters raised their voices for democracy, justice, and against abuse of power. "I don't understand what's happening in this country right now," said Daniel Gamez, a former US Marine Corps soldier in Houston.

One lakh people participate in rallies in New York

Protesters demonstrated peacefully in New York's Times Square. Police reported no arrests, with more than one lakh people attending the citywide rally. Thousands also gathered in Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, and Seattle.

Dozens of rallies held around Los Angeles

Dozens of rallies were held around Los Angeles. In Seattle, people joined a 1.5-mile-long parade near the city's Space Needle. More than 25,000 people participated in a peaceful demonstration in San Diego.

Trump was at his Florida home, Mar-a-Lago, over the weekend. In a TV interview, he said, "They're calling me a king, but I'm no king."
