Patna: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's first election campaign in Bihar will begin on October 29 from the Sakra assembly constituency in Muzaffarpur district.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav will also accompany Rahul Gandhi during this campaign.
Bihar Congress media in-charge Rajesh Rathod issued a statement saying that this is Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's first election tour in the Bihar assembly elections.
Rahul Gandhi will address his first public rally in support of Sakra (reserved) assembly constituency candidate Umesh Ram, after which he will address various public rallies in Darbhanga in support of RJD and Grand Alliance candidates.
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav will also share the stage with him during this campaign and jointly address public rallies.
It is noteworthy that earlier, Rahul Gandhi had participated in the 'Voter Rights Yatra' in Bihar for 16 consecutive days and travelled about 1300 kilometres in various areas of the state.
