Bihar Assembly Election-2025: What Ashok Gehlot said about alliance partners running against each other?

Regarding the seat-sharing arrangement within the Grand Alliance in Bihar, Congress leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that there could be a "friendly fight" on some seats.

He said that Bihar is such a large state, some difficulties are bound to arise.

The former Chief Minister told media that there could be a friendly fight on some seats. The process is progressing. We will hold a press conference soon and clarify the situation.

Ashok Gehlot said, "All confusion will be cleared up in a day or two. The Grand Alliance will contest the elections with full force."

Parties like the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress, and CPI (Communist Party) in the Grand Alliance are talking about contesting the elections together.

However, on some seats, candidates from Grand Alliance allies have already entered into a contest with each other.

Voting in Bihar will be held in two phases: the first on November 6th and the second on November 11th, with the results announced on November 14th.
