Chirag Paswan Remembers Father Ram Vilas Paswan: The political situation is heating up with the announcement of the Bihar assembly election-2025 dates. Chirag Paswan remembered his father and party founder, Ram Vilas Paswan, on his death anniversary, while his party, LJP (Ram Vilas) is discussing seat-sharing with the NDA alliance. He shared a post recalling his father's advice: "Don't commit crime, don't tolerate crime," which many see as a hint about wanting a fair share of seats.
On October 8, on the anniversary of Ram Vilas Paswan's passing, Chirag posted an emotional message. He wrote, "Papa always said, 'Don't commit crime, don't tolerate crime.' If you want to live, learn to die; learn to fight at every step."
This message has stirred discussions in Bihar politics, especially since his party is negotiating for seats with the NDA. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to Ram Vilas Paswan, and Chirag thanked him for that.
Chirag is pushing for at least 40 winnable seats
Chirag is pushing for at least 40 "winnable seats" in the Bihar Assembly elections, citing his party's success in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections where they won all five seats. He believes this performance justifies a good share in the upcoming Assembly elections. However, he told the media that he wouldn’t share details yet, as talks are still at an early stage.
In another post, Chirag expressed his commitment to fulfilling his father's dreams. He said, "Papa, my tribute to you on your anniversary. I promise to follow your path and realize your vision of 'Bihar First, Bihari First.'" He said he views the upcoming elections as a chance to guide Bihar in a new direction, with the support of his father's inspiration.
