Bihar Assembly Election 2025: What Tejashwi Yadav said about Nitish Kumar after being declared CM face
Bihar Assembly Election 2025: Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has presented Tejashwi Yadav as the Grand Alliance's chief ministerial candidate in Bihar.
After being declared CM face, tejashwi said, "We even held a joint press conference, but we are seeing the injustice being done to Nitish Kumar in the NDA."
The Grand Alliance has also announced that if it forms a government in Bihar, it may appoint more than one deputy chief minister, one of whom will be Mukesh Sahni of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP)0.
Gehlot said, "Tejashwi is a young man with a long future. The public supports those with a long future. He is young and committed. He lived up to the job slogans and promises he made last time."
Many senior leaders of the Grand Alliance allies including RJD's Tejashwi Yadav, Manoj Jha, Congress leader Ashok Gehlot, Pawan Khera, CPIML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, VIP's Mukesh Sahni attended Gehlot's press conference.
Tejashwi Yadav and Ashok Gehlot also met separately just before the press conference.
Gehlot arrived in Patna on Wednesday and is believed to have played a key role in forging consensus among the alliance partners on several issues related to the Grand Alliance.
Ashok Gehlot asked the NDA about its CM candidate.
He said, "We want to ask who your next CM candidate is? This is our demand because in Maharashtra it was said that the elections would be fought on Shinde's name, and later someone else was made the CM; the same thing is happening here."

Tejashwi Yadav said that he is not working to become the CM or form a government, but to change Bihar.
He said, "We even held a joint press conference, but we are seeing the injustice being done to Nitish Kumar in the NDA."
"The NDA has not held a single joint press conference, nor has it jointly declared him as the Chief Ministerial candidate. We are saying that they will not make Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister again, Amit Shah has even given this message. You always declare the CM face, but why are you not making the announcement this time?"
Addressing an election rally in Bihar, BJP President JP Nadda said that RJD stands for extortion, jungle raj, and bullying. He said, "Will those who take away land for jobs give you jobs?"
