The Congress Party has already made some major announcements on behalf of the Grand Alliance for Bihar, including Rs 2,500 per month for women, free medical treatment up to Rs 25 lakh, 3 to 5 decimals of land for landless families, and justice for the most backward classes.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday, the names of Tejashwi Yadav of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) as the Chief Ministerial face and Mukesh Sahni as the Deputy Chief Minister face have also been announced by the Grand Alliance.
Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced this in the joint press conference of the Grand Alliance on Thursday. He said that if our government is formed then Mukesh Sahni will be the Deputy Chief Minister. More people will be made Deputy Chief Ministers, who will be from backward communities.
The Grand Alliance includes RJD and Congress along with CPI (ML) and other left parties as well as Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP).
