The NDA alliance has announced its seat-sharing agreement for the Bihar Assembly elections- 2025. The BJP and JDU will contest 101 seats each in the 243-seat Bihar Assembly.
The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest 29 seats, and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) will contest six seats each.
Union Minister and BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan posted on Twitter, "We, the NDA allies, have completed the seat-sharing arrangement in a cordial atmosphere. Workers and leaders of all NDA parties welcome this with joy."
BJP leader and Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde wrote on Twitter, "An organized and dedicated NDA. All members of the NDA family have completed the seat distribution for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections in a cordial atmosphere and by mutual consent."
Regarding the question of the seat-sharing formula, BJP leader Ajay Alok said that it was more or less the same as in the Lok Sabha.
He said, "This election is being fought in the same proportion in which the Lok Sabha elections were fought. There was consensus on this from the beginning and everything happened in a cordial atmosphere."
"Leaders and workers of all NDA parties have joyfully welcomed this decision. All allies are geared up and determined to form an NDA government in Bihar again."
Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) President Chirag Paswan posted on Twitter, "We, the NDA family, have completed the seat-sharing arrangement for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections in a cordial atmosphere."
Following the seat sharing, JDU leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said, "The victory campaign has begun, the war cry has been sounded, and this is a great start."
He said, "Meetings of all five parties were taking place continuously, and now the seat sharing has been announced. We will fight with full force and win."
