Nitish Kumar a CM only in the name: said Akhilesh Yadav in Ghazipur, UP, what he said about Tejashwi Yadav?

Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav visited Ghazipur, UP on Thursday and held a press conference where he targeted the BJP on various issues. He talked about the Bihar elections, the central government's policies, and safety in Uttar Pradesh. He also took aim at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar regarding the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. He said, "Nitish Kumar is the BJP's groom for elections, not a groom for the post of CM. Nitish is the electoral Chief Minister." Akhilesh Yadav further emphasized that Bihar is now demanding change and wants to move on the path of greater prosperity and progress.

Akhilesh alleged that the BJP, as part of a conspiracy, was claiming to make Nitish Kumar the Prime Minister, whereas now he is only a Chief Minister in the name. Citing the examples of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, he said that the opposition is claiming from the platforms that the BJP will not make Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister after the elections, but is only keeping him for the elections.

Tejashwi Yadav will become CM, SP is with him

The SP national president also made a strong claim regarding Tejashwi Yadav. He stated that Tejashwi will become the Chief Minister. The Samajwadi Party is with him. He stated that the SP is ready to provide any support needed to run the government. He also described the political feud between Tejashwi and Tej Pratap Yadav as the BJP's "habit of creating conflict."

UP lagging behind in terms of investment

Akhilesh claimed that Uttar Pradesh is lagging behind in terms of investment. Andhra Pradesh is going to become the largest center of Google Meta, and the most investment is coming to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.

BJP wanted to tamper with the voter list

Akhilesh also questioned the Election Commission's impartiality regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). He alleged that the BJP wanted to tamper with the voter list. He said, "It is the Election Commission's responsibility to prepare the voter list impartially, but is that happening? The BJP is conspiring to manipulate the entire process."
