(In Pics) MP CM Mohan Yadav in Kaziranga, Announces Assam-MP Tie-Up for Wildlife Tourism
During his visit to Assam on Sunday, Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav toured the world-famous Kaziranga National Park and nearby tea plantations.
CM observed the tea production process and interacted warmly with local farmers and women workers. He said that the tea industry is a symbol of Assam’s pride and economy.
CM said that a special initiative will be undertaken to strengthen cooperation, trust and partnership between Assam and Madhya Pradesh not only in trade and industry but also in eco-tourism and wildlife tourism.
At Kaziranga National Park, Dr. Yadav witnessed the enchanting natural beauty and wildlife conservation efforts.
CM affectionately fed sugarcane to elephants and learnt about innovative practices for wildlife preservation.
During his visit, a python was released back into its natural habitat in Kaziranga.
It is noteworthy that Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a key centre of Eastern Himalayan biodiversity and home to the iconic one-horned rhinoceros.
The park also shelters elephants, wild buffaloes, swamp deer and numerous bird species, and is renowned for its thriving wildlife population and conservation initiatives.
