Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025: Bird tourism, eco-tourism and adventure tourism to get big boost, see other details


The three-day Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025 ended successfully on Monday at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre in Bhopal. During the event, Indore Treasure Town Pvt. Ltd. received an award for building a hotel/resort on Nazarpura Island in the Indira Sagar Reservoir and in Ninod village near the Sanchi World Heritage Site.

A partnership was formed with the Atavi Bird Foundation from Bangalore to promote bird tourism in Madhya Pradesh, which will help boost eco-tourism and adventure tourism in the area. Another agreement was made with Curly Tales, a popular travel and lifestyle platform, to enhance digital marketing.

Additionally, a deal was signed with Ease My Trip to create a tent city to develop Hanuwantiya and Tamia Mandu as tourist spots.

To improve air travel between major tourist sites, helicopter services were launched in three areas of the state, with awards given to Trans Bharat Aviation and Jet Serve Aviation for this service.

Under the 'Narmada Cruise Project,' a cultural and spiritual trip will be organized from Meghnath Ghat in Dhar district to the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, with five companies receiving awards to help with this project.

Lastly, a contract was signed with Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms to produce films and web series in Madhya Pradesh, with a budget of Rs 50 crore over the next five years. A new TV commercial called "The Sitarist," featuring Anoushka Shankar, was also launched.
