What PM Modi said after Hamas's response to Gaza peace plan, what Qatar said?
Hamas has responded to the US plan for peace in Gaza, agreeing to the release of all remaining Israeli hostages.
Hamas also agreed with Trump's statement. Speaking to the media, a Hamas spokesperson said President Trump's statement was "encouraging."
The spokesperson added that Hamas is "ready to immediately begin negotiations to ensure a prisoner exchange, an end to the war, and the return of occupied territory."
However, Hamas also stated that it wants to negotiate on several key points of the US plan for peace in Gaza.
Following Hamas's response, Trump thanked the countries supporting peace in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that his country is preparing to implement the first phase of the peace plan.
PM Modi welcomes peace efforts
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today welcomed the leadership of President Donald Trump as peace efforts in Gaza make decisive progress. Modi said the indications of the release of hostages represent a significant step forward in the ongoing humanitarian and diplomatic efforts.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that India remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting all initiatives that contribute to a durable and just peace in the region.

Qatar also welcomes Hamas's response
Qatar has welcomed Hamas's response to the US peace plan in Gaza. Qatar also expressed support for US President Donald Trump's statements regarding a ceasefire and the release of hostages.
Qatar issued a statement saying, "We also support the President's statements calling for an immediate ceasefire to secure the safe and speedy release of the hostages."
Qatar also stated that it has begun working with mediator Egypt and the US to resume negotiations to implement a ceasefire.
