Bihar Assembly Election-2025: Grand Alliance slams NDA coalition's election manifesto; what Tejashwi Yadav and Jairam Ramesh said?

Preparations for the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 are underway in full swing. On Friday, the ruling NDA coalition released its election manifesto in Patna, making several major promises related to employment and development. The opposition grand alliance has criticized this manifesto.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "For the first time in history, a coalition's manifesto was released in just 26 seconds. The NDA should bring a 'sorry letter,' not a resolution letter, for Bihar! A sorry letter for 14 crore people!"

He criticized the NDA for failing to meet even the basic needs of the people during its 20 years in power. Yadav further commented, "Actually, their manifesto is nothing but a report card of the lies and deceptions they've been continuously spreading in Bihar for the past 25 years."

He pointed out that every year a new manifesto is released, and with each new announcement, previous promises seem to question, "Brother, what happened to us? Why didn't you fulfill us?"

Tejashwi Yadav highlighted a specific promise from 2020 regarding providing nutritious food to children. He said that this acknowledgment implies a failure to meet basic needs until now. He remarked, "This was a very basic thing, right? This means they couldn't meet basic needs. Today, after 25 years of exploitation, they've come up with a manifesto that promises a lot."

He also said, "They're saying they'll revamp schools? That means they haven't even accomplished that much in twenty years. They should apologize to the people of Bihar."

Jairam Ramesh also takes a dig at NDA

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh also took a dig at the NDA. He said that a few days ago the Prime Minister Modi had spoken about the reels being made by Bihar youths.

He said, "Perhaps inspired by this, today the NDA leaders in Bihar completed the press conference on their election manifesto in just 26 seconds."

Jairam Ramesh said that the NDA was not particularly at fault, saying, "They had nothing to boast of in the name of achievements in the last 20 years."
