PM Modi Road Show: PM Narendra Modi held a massive and grand road show in the capital Patna today in connection with the Bihar Assembly elections-2025. The 3-kilometer-long road show aimed to directly influence voters in Patna's 14 assembly constituencies. PM Modi greeted the public on the streets of Patna from a flower-decorated vehicle.
Candidates from Patna's six assembly constituencies—Patna Sahib, Kumhrar, Danapur, Digha, Bankipur, and Phulwari— rode in his vehicle one by one. Ten welcome points were set up at various locations to welcome PM Modi, where he was accorded a grand welcome.
Nitish Kumar Not Seen With PM Modi
In the photographs of PM Modi's road show that have surfaced Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not seen with the Prime Minister. Union Ministers Lallan Singh and Dilip Jaiswal are seen accompanying him in PM Modi's vehicle. This has created political turmoil in the state.
Why was Nitish Kumar missing from the road show?
Although there is no significant reason for CM Nitish Kumar's absence, he is busy campaigning outside Patna, which could have prevented him from participating in the roadshow. Opposition supporters claim that PM Modi deliberately excluded him from the roadshow. Several explanations are being offered for this.
PM Modi Pays Obeisance at Patna Sahib
After the roadshow concludes in Patna, PM Modi arrived at Gurudwara Patna Sahib in the evening to pay obeisance. This roadshow is considered part of a larger strategy to build a favorable atmosphere for the NDA in Patna and surrounding areas ahead of the upcoming elections.
Prior to the roadshow in Patna, PM Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Arrah. There, he launched a scathing attack on the Grand Alliance and its constituent parties. He also took a jab at the nomination of Tejashwi as the CM face, saying that the RJD has declared Tejashwi as the CM face by holding a dagger to the Congress's head.
