Counting of votes is underway for the 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly. Trends so far indicate Nitish Kumar's government will be formed again. The NDA is leading in 174 seats, and the Grand Alliance in 65. Trends indicate JDU is emerging as the largest party, leading in 73 seats.
Prashant Kishor's party, Jan Suraj, is not leading in any seat in the trends. Independents, among others, are leading in four seats.
Tejashwi Yadav is leading in Raghopur over NDA candidate Satish Yadav. His elder brother, Tej Pratap, is trailing in Mahua. Samrat Chaudhary is leading in Tarapur. Shahabuddin's son, Osama, is leading in Raghunathpur.
RJD's Tejashwi Yadav leads in Raghopur, while JJD's Tej Pratap trails in Mahua. RJD's Osama Shahab leads in Raghunathpur.
JDU's Vijay Chaudhary leads in Sarairanjan, while Rajput strongman and RJD candidate Ritlal Yadav leads in Danapur.
