Karnataka Political Crisis: The turmoil in Karnataka's politics has reached its peak. Will the state get a new Chief Minister? Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has finally broken his silence on this suspense. He has indicated that the next 48 hours will be crucial. Kharge confirmed that he will work with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to resolve this crisis. The picture will become clearer by December 1.

According to sources, a crucial meeting will be scheduled in Delhi within the next 48 hours, after which Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar will be summoned. This turmoil has intensified as the government has completed two and a half years and discussions regarding the alleged power-sharing agreement reached in 2023 are rife.

Shivakumar's supporting MLAs camping in Delhi

DK Shivakumar refused to speak openly to the media, saying it was a secret agreement between four or five people and that he trusted his conscience. However, his supporting MLAs are camping in Delhi. MLA Iqbal Hussain claimed that Kharge listened to him sympathetically and that DK Shivakumar will become the CM soon. He said that two and a half years have passed, so a change is necessary now, and the DK faction has submitted a petition to the party high command.

Siddaramaiah faction also active

On the other hand, the Siddaramaiah faction is also active. Minister Satish Jarkiholi said that the Chief Minister will soon meet with Kharge to clarify the situation.

Meanwhile, DK Shivakumar said in Bengaluru that he does not have a separate faction; there is only one faction, the Congress. He said, "We will discuss party issues within our walls, not in the media." Meanwhile, Home Minister G. Parameshwara's name has also come up, to which Jarkiholi said, "There's nothing wrong with making a claim, but the final decision will be made in Delhi."
