Tourism is rapidly growing in the Churna area of the Satpura Tiger Reserve located in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, and along with it, a significant treasure of employment is set to open for local youth.

Former advisor to the State Policy Commission, P.C. Barskar, claimed that in the coming years, this area is going to become a strong center for employment. The upgrading of railway stations, highway connectivity, and new tourism trends present a big opportunity for youth.
According to Barskar, there are hundreds of employment opportunities available in tourism for the youth of the Churna-Satpura area, including small hotels and lodges, homestays and family-based accommodations, jungle safaris and guiding services, camping sites, adventure tourism (trekking, bird watching, cycling tours), local food and cultural tourism, as well as jeep rentals, tour package creation, and photography-videography services.
Several railway station upgrades in this area are set to begin. Once completed, the influx of tourists will increase significantly.
Tourists visiting Satpura prefer nature, tranquility, and local culture, which is why the future of homestay options is also being claimed to be bright.
